At Transform Communities Staffordshire CIC (TCSCIC), we are passionate about creating brighter futures for children, young people, and families across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to feel valued, safe, inspired, and supported to achieve their potential—no matter their background or circumstances.
We are a not-for-profit community interest company working in some of the most deprived areas in the region, where opportunities for young people can be limited and challenges such as poverty, isolation, and anti-social behaviour are more common. Our mission is simple: to transform lives by offering safe, inclusive spaces, positive activities, mentoring, and support that build confidence, wellbeing, and resilience.
We run a wide range of free or low-cost youth clubs, holiday activity programmes, mentoring schemes, and family support services. Our approach combines fun, creativity, and sport with opportunities for young people to talk, learn, and grow.
Our weekly youth sessions provide a safe, welcoming environment where children and teenagers can relax, make friends, and take part in positive activities. From arts and crafts to music, gaming, sports, and chill-out spaces, there’s something for everyone. These sessions also give young people a voice in shaping what we do, so the activities reflect their interests.
During school holidays, we deliver exciting activity programmes combined with free nutritious meals for children eligible for free school meals, while also welcoming siblings and other young people. These sessions reduce holiday hunger, ease financial pressures on families, and keep children engaged, active, and learning.
Sport is a powerful tool to engage young people, build confidence, and improve physical and mental health. We offer boxing, tennis, dodgeball, football, and other multi-sports led by qualified coaches. Our female-led boxing and sports sessions also break down barriers and create safe spaces for girls and young women to thrive.
For young people needing extra support, we provide tailored mentoring and one-to-one sessions. We work closely with schools, the Youth Offending Team, and other agencies to support young people at risk of exclusion, offending, or struggling with challenges such as confidence, behaviour, or mental health. Our mentors build trusted relationships, helping young people set goals, develop resilience, and make positive choices.
We recognise that supporting young people also means supporting their families. Our team signposts parents to services, provides advice, and helps families access resources—from food vouchers to wellbeing support. We also run family fun days, bringing communities together and creating positive shared experiences.
